Recipe: Air Fried Chickpeas

You’ll be shocked at how great these taste! Filled with protein, fat and fiber, these make a simple salty snack or use them as croutons on your salad!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 can organic chickpeas

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

  • 1/4 tsp paprika

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne

  • Pink Himalayan salt to taste

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Drain the chickpeas and pat dry.

  2. In a bowl, combine chickpeas with seasonings and toss to coat.

  3. Pour coated chickpeas into air fryer basket in a single layer and cook at 400º for 10-12 minutes, until crispy.

  4. Eat fresh or store in a mason jar.

NOTES:

If storing for later, the chickpeas do tend to soften as they sit. When you’re ready to eat them, simply pop them back in your air fryer for 2-3 minutes and they’re good to go!

Don’t have an air fryer? It’s a great investment for your health! Use it to cook crispy broccoli florets, sweet potato fries and cheesy kale chips, too. Here’s the exact model I use and love.
