Recipe: Tart Cherry Gummies

 

Like an all-natural jello, these gummies are packed with protein and free from added sugar. They’re made simply with gelatin powder and tart cherry juice. The glycine in gelatin is an essential amino acid that supports gut health, blood sugar balance and has been shown to help you sleep better. These make a great bedtime snack!


 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1.5 cups organic tart cherry juice

  • 4 tbsp grass-fed gelatin powder

  • Optional: ~10 drops of liquid stevia or sweetened to your taste preference

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a small saucepan, warm tart cherry juice over medium heat.

  2. Add gelatin powder and continue stirring the mixture while it heats until the powder completely dissolves.

  3. Once powder completely dissolves, remove from heat and pour in a glass baking dish.

  4. Place in refrigerator to chill until gelatin sets (about 30 minutes.)

  5. Cut into bite-sized pieces and store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator up to 10 days.
